Valencia, 02/07/2024. E&C Consultants is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for our entity in Spain for June 2024–2025.
E&C is an international energy procurement consultancy, servicing large consumers of energy in more than 100 countries worldwide. E&C is present with a team of consultants, financial controllers, sales, marketing, IT and data specialists in Spain since 2014, with E&Cers very much representing Spain in our offices in Madrid and Valencia but also remotely across all corners of this country. E&C’s Head Office is in Kortrijk, Belgium.
The award is based on an anonymous survey sent out to all employees in Spain. An impressive 98% of our Spanish colleagues said that E&C is a Great Place To Work. What´s more, the award groups the feedback received from our colleagues into categories, so we are able to see, for example, that they feel they are treated fairly regardless of their gender or age (98%), race or sexual orientation (100%)! This is the second award in as many years to come directly as a result of our own employees´ feedback. Last year, we picked up the Family and Human Wellbeing Humanites Award 2022 for our Polish branch.
What does this award signify for E&C?
E&C has always prided itself on considering its approach to anything with an open mind – be it the services we offer, the clients we target, our internal organization and the people we hire. In our 19 years of existence, we have shied away from conventionality with a view to safeguarding our own company ´soul´: our own values and ethics as we grow and evolve. How we value and invest in our own people is a huge part of this journey – something that we continually evaluate and strive to improve.
This award reflects the initiatives that E&C Consultants has implemented to create a great workplace culture, such as our extended holiday and flexible working policies, our salary benchmarking exercise, our emphasis on celebrating our diversity and encouraging representation, and the creation of our professional development tool to create more opportunities... This award is both a recognition of these efforts as well as an opportunity to consider areas for improvement. However, according to one comment from the survey conducted, we are happy to say that we are on the right track:
