Energy transition strategies for large energy consumers: types of PPAs

  • Kathleen Peters, Energy Procurement and Transition Consultant at E&C Consultants
  • Andor Savelkouls, Energy Procurement and Transition Consultant at E&C Consultants

Power Purchase Agreements, PPAs, is the name used for contracts where you buy electricity directly from a producer, without the intervention of a supplier. Spurred on by American tech companies, PPAs with renewable assets were quickly adopted as a preferred method for greening electricity supplies.

However, different variations have evolved. Many of those being long term and therefore very impactful, it’s important to be well informed on those different characteristics so that you can chose the PPA products that fit the requirements of your organisation best.

Join this workshop to get an overview and deeper understanding of different PPA products.
